About Patterson’s Pub
A Bit of Pub History
Patterson’s Pub brings a bit of Ireland to the Northern California Coast.
If you want to define a quintessential Irish pub, you’ll find it hard to find a better example than Patterson’s Pub in the historic village of Mendocino.
For over three decades we’ve been part of the landscape in Mendocino and today we continue to be the favorite “watering hole” of both locals and visitors alike.
We’re known for our good food, good drink and good people but most of all for the warmth of our welcome and the sense of fun and conviviality.
The historic pub building dates back to 1866 when it was originally the rectory for St Anthony’s Catholic Church. So all or our spirits are blessed and our wines are sanctified and the beers have been exorcised.
